News: Excitebike in the WORLD! OF! TOMORROW!
Ubisoft has announced they've teamed up with Left Field Productions to bring Nitrobike to the Wii this holiday season.
Nitrobike will place players on "rocket-propelled motorcycles" as they race against the clock and against other players in the game's online mode.
If the name Left Field Productions sounds familar, that's because they created the fantastic Excitebike 64 for the Nintendo 64. So hearing that they're returning to the world of motorcycle racing (even if they're rocket-propelled) is good news.
"Ubisoft is thrilled to be introducing the first Motocross game available for Wii," said Jay Cohen, vice president of publishing at Ubisoft. "Nitrobike's fun and fast-paced gameplay is sure to be a hit for Wii owners for the holiday season."
We'll have more on Nitrobike soon.
