News: Formerly only available in the Collector's Edition, now available to everybody.
Capcom has announced that the special multiplayer map known as "Battleground" will be available as a free download on Xbox Live on June 7. The Battleground map was previously only available to those who had purchased the Collector's Edition of Lost Planet.
The Battleground map is set in "an abandoned town scattered with rubble from ruined buildings and features indoor and outdoor areas with multi-level vantage points."
Lost Planet: Extreme Condition was released in January for the Xbox 360 to most favorable reviews including a score of 8.4 in our own review.
