News: The battle-suited superhero is coming to next-generation consoles.
Sega has announced they've reached a deal with Marvel for the video game rights to Iron Man. The deal covers the development and publishing of games "based on both Marvel's Iron Man feature films and the classic comic book iterations of the character." The deal covers all game platforms and Sega has hinted that a deal involving another Marvel property is in the works.
But the first Iron Man game Sega has lined up will be coming to next-generation consoles and will be be based on Iron Man's 2008 film debut. The movie stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man and Terrence Howard as Stark's partner Jim Rhodes/War Machine.
