News: 27 titles will be on hand... and hands-on.

Gamasutra is reporting Sony has announced that 27 games will be playable at this year's Tokyo Game Show (September 22-24).

After being a no show at E3 06, Capcom's Devil May Cry 4 heads the list, with a slew of other big-name titles right behind it. According to Sony, the following titles will be ready to play at TGS:

  • Armored Core 4
  • Bladestorm
  • Coded Arms: Assault
  • Devil May Cry 4
  • The Eye of Judgment
  • Fatal Inertia
  • Formula One World Championship
  • Genji 2
  • Heavenly Sword
  • Hot Shots Golf 5
  • Lair
  • Mah-jongg Convention IV
  • Mobile Suite Gundam
  • MotorStorm
  • Railfan
  • Resistance: Fall of Man
  • Ridge Racer 7
  • Vision Gran Turismo
  • Warhawk

With 19 titles in that list, Sony still has room for 8 surprises. And I have a feeling they'll all be very surprising in one way or another.
