Trauma Center: Under the Knife

Written by John Scalzo  on August 09, 2006

News: And the DS version is getting another re-release.

Atlus has confirmed that Trauma Center: Second Opinion, their Wii-sized remake of the DS hit, will be available on the first day of the Wii launch. While we know it would arrive close to the launch, knowing it's going to arrive STAT is just the stitching on the wound.

Trauma Center: Second Opinion (which Atlus calls a "wii-make") will feature many enhancements over the DS version including:
  • New graphics and animation
  • New surgical implements and operation types
  • A second playable character with all-new missions
  • Multiple difficulty modes for gamers of all skill levels
  • A revised control system that takes full advantage of the revolutionary Wii Remote and Nunchuk-style controller.

In other Trauma Center news, Atlus has revealed that the DS re-release of Under the Knife is selling so well that a second re-release is planned for mid-August.
