News: Not surprised. Not one bit.

While we Americans were eating hot dogs and setting off firecrackers, Sony Europe was up to something else. They announced that Ridge Racer 2 is coming to the PSP this winter.

Ridge Racer 2 will play much like the original PSP Ridge Racer and Namco-Bandai plans to stuff it with "nearly three times as much play time as its predecessor". The game will include online play for up to eight players and feature "new cars, new racing modes, [and] more courses".

While there's been no official word from Namco-Bandai about an American release, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.
