PlayStation 3 web site goes live @ Gaming Target

News: Everything you already know about the PS3, now on Sony's official site!

PlayStation.com/PS3 went live this morning... in the UK. Yes, as of today EU.PlayStation.com/PS3 is live.

Our brothers across the pond have created a nice little site detailing every we know about the PS3 in one handy place. The site is broken up into five sections dubbed Games, Gallery (shots of the PS3 hardware), PS3 Explained (a glossary of PS3-related terms), Specs and Press Releases.

The PS3 Explained section includes short and dirty ~~excuses~~ explanations for some of the PS3's more baffling features, but it is pretty light on content overall.

The Games section includes a bunch of screenshots for Eye of Judgement, Formula One 06, Genji 2, Heavenly Sword, MotorStorm, SingStar and Warhawk.

Basically, if you're a regular Internet newshound this official site won't tell you anything you don't already know. But if you didn't know the PS3 was coming until just recently, it will provide plenty of answers with one click of the mouse.

And in case you were wondering, the American arm of SCE also uploaded their offical PS3 site this morning. It's a static image of the front of the system. No links, no screenshots, no Flash, no nothing.
