News: Sega is cutting deep to compete with Madden this year. Let the games begin.
Various retailers (including EB Games and GameStop) are reporting that when ESPN NFL 2K5 launches this summer for the Xbox and the PS2, it will come with a price tag of $19.99.
The game is currently sporting a release date of August 24 and this move is obviously an attempt to fight the mighty Madden the only way Sega knows how: at the register.
We'll keep you posted on all the pigskin progress as Madden and ESPN NFL are the only gridiron games left. Previews of both are also in the pipeline.
