News: Grand Theft Auto IV, a 360 exclusive? Uh oh.

Microsoft did the Press Conference thing last and boy did they save the best for last. A ton of new announcements highlight year two of the Xbox 360. And there were some PC announcements to boot.

Here you go, prepare to drool:

  • Grand Theft Auto IV is coming to the Xbox 360 the same day as the PS3 version. Right now, it's scheduled for October 16, 2007. After that, exclusive bonus episodes will be available only on Xbox Live.
  • A Halo 3 trailer ended the show and it will be available on Xbox Live soon.

    Other announcements included:
  • Contra and Super Contra on Xbox Live
  • Lumines Live (with downloadable music video support)
  • Fable 2
  • Forza Motorsport 2
  • Alan Wake (PC and Xbox 360)
  • Shadowrun (PC and Xbox 360)

Microsoft also said there would be 160 Xbox 360 games available by the end of year.

Wow, between the price of the PS3 and GTA4 I think Sony might be a littled worried.

    We'll have more soon.
