GameSpot is reporting that Official PlayStation Magazine is reporting in their January 2006 issue that Unreal Tournament 2007 will be a PS3 launch title and that, again, the PS3 will launch this Spring.
The shooter from Epic Games was rumored to be coming to the PS3 back at E3, but nothing was confirmed. Now that it is, it's interesting to note that the PC original doesn't even have a solid 2006 release date yet.
The first day of Spring is March 20. So theoretically the PS3 will ship sometime after that. That's 88 days away and the public has yet to even get a real look at any real-time PS3 video. Let alone the fact that Sony has yet to unveil playable PS3 hardware at any public event.
But we know Unreal Tournament 2007 will be a launch title. That's about all we know.
