Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Teaser Released Ahead of Worldwide Reveal

News: We will finally get a proper look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II next week but until then take a look at this teaser trailer.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be released this holiday season. Earlier today Activision and Infinity Ward released a new live-action trailer to tease what we can expect when players are finally able to get their hands on the game. The trailer that was released today is also a teaser for the big worldwide Modern Warfare II reveal that will be taking place on June 8.

Unfortunately at this moment, not much else is known about Modern Warfare II. It will be picking up from where the 2019 Call of Duty Modern Warfare left off. Task 141 is back and it is time to save the world again. All of the Modern Warfare popular characters should be making another appearance and it will be interesting to see what Infinity Ward has done here. The 2019 Modern Warfare wasn’t a remake of the 2007 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, instead being kind of a reimagining. I assume that Modern Warfare II this year will follow the same path by being reimagined instead of being just a remake of the 2009 game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Only time will tell of course but it will be very interesting to see the direction they take, and whether they include a mission similar to “No Russian” in this new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
