Call of Duty: Vanguard PlayStation Multiplayer Alpha Takes Place This Week

News: If you want an early look at some of Call of Duty Vanguard this week, you will have 48 hours to try a small part of it out.

If you are a PlayStation gamer and want an early look at Call of Duty: Vanguard, it appears you are in luck. Beginning on August 27th at 10 am Pacific and going until August 29th at 10 am Pacific, PS4 and PS5 owners will get the opportunity to participate in the Call of Duty: Vanguard PlayStation Alpha, featuring a new multiplayer mode known as Champion Hill. This 48 hour session is the first opportunity you will have to experience Vanguard, approximately two months before its retail release. The only thing you need to participate in this Alpha is the console and an internet connection. No pre-order is required for this Alpha session.

Additionally, the third annual Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Bowl was revealed. The C.O.D.E. Bowl is a tournament featuring U.S. and U.K. military esports teams that helps their country’s veterans find high-quality careers, to take place on December 10th. You will be able to see whether or not the U.S. Space Force will repeat as champions, as they battle it out aboard the legendary Intrepid aircraft carrier in New York City.
