News: There were some great games shown off over the last few days that we will hopefully get to play somewhat soon.
E3 2021 is just about in the books. There were some great presentations over the course of the last few days, as well as a few that didn’t quite hit the mark. During a traditional year that didn’t involve COVID, on the third day you could walk around the show floor and see which games and/or studios were nominated for awards, based on what they showed during E3 week. With COVID preventing us from having a more traditional E3 this year, everything went digital, including the awards.
The ESA recently sent out a press release congratulating those games and companies that received these awards for this year. They only mentioned two categories which is strange but regardless, here are the 2021 winners:
Overall Most Anticipated: Forza Horizon 5, Microsoft Game Studios
Best Presentation: Microsoft: Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase
Honorable Mention for Other Heavily Anticipated TItles:
Capcom: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles
Gearbox Entertainment: Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Indie Games: Falling Frontier
Intellivision: Asteroids
Nintendo: Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2
PC Gaming Show: Songs of Conquest
Freedom Games: Airborne Kingdom
Future Games Show: Immortality
Square Enix: Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
Ubisoft: Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope
Xbox/Bethesda: Halo: Infinite
Yooreka Studio: Loopmancer
