As Season 8 - Mayhem goes into full swing, EA and Respawn Entertainment have revealed that Apex Legends will launch on Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 9, bringing the character-based battle royale experience to even more gamers and those looking to compete away from the big screen.
Together with Panic Button, a team known for their best-in-class ports on Nintendo Switch, Apex Legends will be available on its smallest screen yet and available to even more players who can compete together through cross-platform play. In the two years since Apex Legends launched, Respawn has continued to innovate in the multiplayer battle-royale genre and connect new players through more platforms. 2021 will continue to surprise players as Respawn aims to expand the scope of the arena to give players even more ways to compete and those new to the game more reasons to come play.
Today also marks the official release of Season 8 - Mayhem as the character-based battle royale game that took the world by storm celebrates its two year anniversary. Season 8 - Mayhem introduces the game’s 16th Legend to the arena with Salvo Mercenary, Walter “Fuse” Fitzroy, bringing mayhem to the sport like never before. Fuse’s explosive brand of fun will be doubled with the debut of the 30-30 Repeater lever-action rifle, new items like Gold Magazine, as well as an overhaul to the iconic Kings Canyon map which includes new areas to explore and battle across.
