News: Fans received a pleasant surprise today when it was discovered that Jedi: Fallen Order was being upgraded on the new consoles.

Earlier today EA and Respawn revealed that not only is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order getting a upgrade on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, but it is arriving within the next day or so. This patch focuses specifically on backwards compatibility performance for the new consoles, including improved framerates, higher resolution experiences and new dynamic resolution ranges.
The high-level summary of the new features includes:
Improved framerate on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5
Improved dynamic resolution ranges, for a higher resolution experience on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5
Improved post-processing resolution for Xbox Series X and PS5, but not Xbox Series S
As far as the consoles specifically, each console will receive the following:
Xbox Series X Performance Mode
Framerate has been increased to 60 FPS
Dynamic resolution added in the range of 1080p to 1440p
Xbox Series X Normal Mode (Non-Performance Mode)
Post Processing has been increased to 4K
Dynamic resolution in the range of 1512 p to 2160p
Xbox Series S
Framerate has been increased to 60 FPS (up from 45 FPS)
PlayStation 5
Framerate has been increased to 60 FPS (up from 45 FPS)
Post Processing increased to 1440p
Dynamic resolution has been disabled and the game is rendering at 1200p (up from 810-1080p)
