News: A roguelike, hand-drawn beat ‘em up will be available soon where the more times you play through the game, the more story you see.

”Tunche”

One of the games that was revealed at Nintendo’s recent Indie World presentation was Tunche. Tunche is a beat ‘em up game with roguelike elements, co-op, and a pinch of witchcraft. It was successfully funded on Kickstarter back in 2019 and is now only a few months away from being released.

In Tunche, you can choose one of the five characters including Hat Kid from A Hat in Time, master their skill-sets and ultimate abilities, defeat epic bosses and unravel the secrets of the Amazonian jungle. The game is centered around high-risk, high-reward combat, and features a 'stylish' grade system. Team up with up to 4 friends and begin your cooperative journey through 4 different worlds, each filled with unique enemies.

Some of the key features include:

  • Explore the breathtaking, hand-drawn world of Amazonian rainforests

  • Team up with up to 4 friends in co-op

  • Gain experience and upgrade characters

  • Use a vast arsenal of fighting moves and magical arts to defeat your foes

  • Face mighty multi-stage bosses

  • Learn and adapt - every playthrough will take you further through the story

  • Tunche is currently slated to be released on March 23, 2021. It will be available for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It should also work on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S via backward compatibility. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think. Are you interested in checking out Tunche?
