News: Square has decided to give Final Fantasy VII fans a gift with early access to the first part of the remake.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to be released next month but you can get an early look at it right now. Square Enix has just stealth released the demo on the PlayStation Network. The demo clocks in at approximately 7.55GB. This demo will allow you to enjoy the very first part of the remake, the iconic Mako Reactor 1 bombing mission. If you play this demo your saved progress will also transfer over to the full retail game when it launches. There is also the disclaimer that content you see in this demo might have been changed for the retail version.
The Final Fantasy VII Remake has a mixture of traditional command-based combat and real-time action. If you download the demo before May 11, 2020, you will also receive an exclusive PS4 theme. So even if you aren’t interested in play the demo itself, be sure to download it so you can get access to this theme.
