Top 5 Tips For Newcomers Playing GTA Online Diamond Casino & Resort

Rockstar recently released a massive update for GTA Online with their casino update. Players can now visit the Diamond Casino and partake in games like Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, and more. There are also slot machines to play, horse racing to watch, and then, of course, the VIP benefits once you become a member. Thanks to this new update there are a lot of people trying out GTA Online for the first time. I am one of those people and during my time with this new update I have come up with five tips for newcomers that can help you out and potentially answer a question or two.

1. You can spin the wheel in the casino for free once every 24 hours. Regardless of the time of day, once you spin it you have to wait a full 24 hours before spinning it again. You can win discounts, money, casino chips, an exotic car, a mystery prize and more.

2. Similar to the casino wheel, go up to the cashier once every 24 hours. You will get 1,000 free chips to use at any game in the casino you choose.

3. You need to reach level 5 in GTA Online before you can do anything with a Penthouse. It is fairly easy to get to level 5 but you will have to a few activities to get there.

4. If you are receiving a free Penthouse from Rockstar because you connected your Twitch Prime account to your Rockstar Social Club account during the promotional period that ended July 19th, it should be available to you for free when you go to buy a Penthouse. If you linked your account after July 19th you can buy the standard Penthouse for 1.5 million dollars and Rockstar will refund your account that money in approximately 48 hours (although some people have stated it has taken up to a week to receive it). This special offer reportedly ends on July 31.

5. If you are exploring the world or just trying to make your own fun somehow and you don’t want to be killed by a random troll you can enable passive mode. To do so go to Online → Options → Enable Passive Mode. This will make sure no one can come up and mess with you but you also won’t be able to mess with others. Keep in mind that certain jobs in GTA Online can not be done with Passive Mode turned on.
