Gravity Ghost Planetary Platformer Arrives on PlayStation 4 in August

News: A new platformer makes it’s way to Sony’s console next month and takes you through the heart of the galaxy.

Gravity Ghost: Deluxe Edition is getting ready to release on the PlayStation 4 next month with all new content. Gravity Ghost is a coming-of-age story where a ghost girl explores a shattered galaxy in search of her best friend.

The Deluxe Edition includes a brand-new constellation, featuring 13 challenge levels and three bonus tracks. You will be able to unlock a new playable character, Voy the ghost fox, whose high jumps open a whole new galaxy of challenges. The DualShock 4’s lightbar effects punctuate the heartfelt story’s most emotional moments.

Set in a beautifully hand-painted world, Gravity Ghost: Deluxe Edition is a planetary platformer where orbiting is an art form. Soar across the galaxy, slingshotting between planetary orbits. You will be able to reach euphoric heights in over 100 vibrant levels where planets bounce, break, splash, spin, repel, and more. You can terraform and rejuvenate worlds across eight stunning constellations. Surf the night sky, careen through the cosmos and find the fox on a journey through the heart of the galaxy.

Gravity Ghost is a heartwarming tale of childhood resilience and wonder through the voice talents of Emmy Award-winning actress Ashly Burch (Horizon Zero Dawn, Life is Strange) and Logan Cunningham (Bastion, Transistor). It has a charming, storybook art style and an award-winning original soundtrack by Ben Prunty (Celeste, Into the Breach, FTL: Faster than Light).

“After three years of pouring my heart and soul into development, I was excited to share the game with the world. I knew this was my best work but was still unsure of how it would be received,” said Erin Robinson Swink, founder, Ivy Games. “After the exceedingly positive reaction to Gravity Ghost from gamers and the media upon its PC release, I had to bring it to the PlayStation community.”
