The Sinking City Gameplay Video Released by Frogwares Studio

News: If you have been wondering what The Sinking City is like, check out this new video that shows off some of the game’s mechanics.

The Sinking City will be released a little later this year, however, you can get a sneak peek at some gameplay right now. This gameplay video shows off “A Delicate Matter,” one of the missions from The Sinking City. This mission takes place a few hours into the game and shows how the main investigation mechanics will work.

During this mission, Mr. Throgmorthon, head of one of the leading families in Oakmont, asks Charles to look into a delicate matter: a receiver of stolen art has disappeared just before closing the sale of a valuable item, and Throgmorthon wants it back at all costs. As the investigation unfolds, the player finds out that the story is far more complicated than it first seemed. Without being prompted by the game, the player must question more and more witnesses throughout the town, and use logic to get to the bottom of things.

If you are interested in The Sinking City pre-orders have opened up. You can pre-order both the physical and digital versions of the game, with each version containing exclusive bonuses. If you choose to go the digital route you can pre-order the Necronomicon Edition which will include the base game, the “Worshippers of the Necronomicon” three quest pack, and the “Investigator Pack”.
