Microsoft Reveals New Xbox One X Bundle, Elite Controller and More

News: There is a new Xbox One X Fallout 76 bundle that you might want to check out, in addition to a new Elite controller color and a new headset.

Microsoft has just revealed some new products that you might be interested in. There is a new Xbox One X bundle coming, in addition to a new color for the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller and a new gaming audio system for the Xbox One. If you don’t already own an Xbox One X this new console will give you a different option when you do buy one and the same goes for the new Elite controller.

Xbox One X Robot White Special Edition Fallout 76 Bundle

Fallout 76 will be released this holiday season and with it comes a new Xbox One X. For the first time, this bundle will feature a Xbox One X console that is white. In addition to that this bundle comes with Fallout 76 itself, Bethesda’s next big game that is an online prequel for the Fallout franchise.

This new Xbox One X bundle will begin arriving in stores on November 14, 2018 and will be available for $499. This special bundle will be available exclusively at the Microsoft Store and GameStop in the United States and globally at participating retailers. If you happen to reside outside of the United States be sure to check your favorite gaming store to see if they will be carrying this item.

Xbox Elite Wireless Controller - White Special Edition

There have been rumors swirling around for a while now that Microsoft is working on the second generation of Xbox Elite Wireless Controllers. This is that rumored controller. It is the standard Xbox Elite controller, now in white. Just like with the original Elite controller you can swap out thumbsticks and d-pads to see what combination you like the best. There are also the Hair Trigger Locks which allow you to get the drop on someone more quickly and efficiently in a game. The way that it works is that in a game like Call of Duty, for example, if you have these Hair Trigger Locks engaged you only have to press the RT button halfway down to fire the gun, as opposed to going all the way down without these locks. This can result in firing your weapon a half second before your opponent and could end up being the difference between victory or defeat. I have had an Xbox Elite controller since they were first released and love this particular feature. If I am playing a first person shooter I make sure these locks are engaged for the aforementioned reason and then if I jump into Forza next I disengage the locks so that the button can go all the way down on the controller and I can put the pedal to the metal, so to speak. All of this is easily done by flicking a switch on the back of the controller. There are also paddles on the back of the controller that you can use to get more precise control in some games. Getting used to these paddles has a decent learning curve to it though so if you don’t want to use them you can easily remove them.

The Xbox Elite controller also has a premium Diamond Rubberized Grip that feels great to hold and makes it more comfortable to hold the controller. This Elite wireless controller is compatible on the Xbox One, Windows 10 PCs and tablets. It will be available beginning October 16, 2018 and is available for pre-order for $149.99. Once again, this controller will be available at the Microsoft Store and GameStop in the United States and at participating retailers worldwide.
