News: The full version of Train Sim World is finally arriving on consoles and PC in a couple months.

”Train

Dovetail Games has revealed that Train Sim World is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC this summer. Train Sim World is a first-person train simulator that brings to life the experience of operating powerful and realistic trains on some of the world’s most amazing railways. Players can complete cargo missions, run 24-hour timetables, or relax as a passenger and enjoy the beautiful scenery – the possibilities are endless. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned expert, Train Sim World caters to all abilities.

For the first time ever on consoles, players can take control of these massive machines traveling at breathtaking speeds in their true, proper glory. Powered by Unreal Engine 4 technology and Dovetail Games’ proprietary SimuGraph vehicle dynamics engine, Train Sim World uses real-world data to reproduce the performance, sound and feel of real locomotives. Explore and interact with different types of trains, learning everything there is to know about operating them with complete interactivity in the cab via an intuitive interface.

Train Sim World features three distinctly different experiences to test your skills on different trains and routes around the world:

Northeast Corridor New York

Drive passenger and freight trains on the world-famous Northeast Corridor in Train Sim World®: Northeast Corridor New York.

Great Western Express

Drive high speed, passenger and freight trains on one of Britain’s busiest railways in Train Sim World: Great Western Express.

Rapid Transit

Drive commuter passenger trains on one of Germany's historic city S-Bahn railways in Train Sim World: Rapid Transit.

Never before has the full Train Sim experience been captured in a package like this. With a precise timetable to keep in order to transport passengers and cargo on-time, your skill, focus and endurance will be tested to the limit.

Rob O’Farrell, SVP, Development at Dovetail Games said, “The dream of driving trains on consoles is almost fully here. We’ve strived to deliver an optimized experience for players on each platform, enabling them to feel the detail and enjoy the work that has gone into crafting Train Sim World.”

Train Sim World and Train Sim World Digital Deluxe will both be available to purchase on consoles and Steam on July 24, with existing Train Sim World content owners eligible for a ‘complete my collection’ upgrade to the full product.

The physical edition of Train Sim World is available to preorder now at all retailers.
Train Sim World Founders Edition is now available to buy on the Xbox Games Store. Owners will receive a discounted upgrade to Train Sim World and Train Sim World Digital Deluxe when it launches on July 24.
