Forza Horizon 3 Blizzard Mountain Expansion Now Available

News: Microsoft has just released the first of two big expansions for Forza Horizon 3 and in this one you’ll have to become King of the Mountain.

Forza Horizon 3 Blizzard Mountain is now available from Microsoft and Playground Games. Blizzard Mountain is the first of two big expansion packs for Forza Horizon 3 and, for the first time, is bringing Forza to the snow. This new Blizzard Mountain content brings snow, ice, extreme elevations and blizzards to challenge you as you try to become King of the Mountain. There are eight new vehicles, including the 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX, all in brand new race events that have been specifically designed for mountain racing.

This new expansion also brings with it a new campaign. You will have to compete in a series of events with that ultimate goal of becoming King of the Mountain. There are more than 50 new events and challenges for you to compete in. Your driving skills will be tested in extreme weather and brand new race types, including Hill Climb, Descent and Blizzard race events. Additionally, you will be able to take part in new Bucket List, Blueprint and Rivals events, as well as earn 28 new events that are worth a grand total of 500 Gamerscore.

Blizzard Mountain introduces seven brand new vehicles (including the aforementioned 2016 Ford GYMKHANA), a new Barn Find, the 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept, classic rally cars and more. While exploring Blizzard Mountain you will be able to choose snow tire upgrades for any of the vehicles in Forza Horizon 3 to see how your favorite car will perform in this harsh environment.

This new Blizzard Mountain content is the first of two big expansion packs for Forza Horizon 3. You can buy it a la carte for $19.99 or buy the Expansion pass for $34.99. If you purchased the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition then the expansion pass is on sale right now for $24.99 and you get both expansion packs. Keep in mind that this is not part of the Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition or anything like that. You will have to buy this new content, whether you do it a la carte or with the expansion pass.
