News: Microsoft has just added three more games to their Xbox One backwards compatibility library from EA, Disney and Ubisoft.

More games were added into the Xbox One backwards compatible library. Major Nelson revealed that Burnout Paradise, Pure, and Rayman Legends can now be played on Xbox One. If you own digital versions of these games they should pop up in your “Ready to Install” section. If you own the disc based version of the game then all you have to do is put the disc in the Xbox One and initiate the install. Once you do that your Xbox One will ping the Xbox Live servers and prompt you to download an update. That update is actually the digital version of the game with the disc only being used for verification purposes.

In Burnout Paradise you feel the adrenaline course through your veins as you take to the road for the first time in Paradise City, where the action is all around you. Explore the city, discover events, and look for the best opportunities to crash, jump and pull signature takedowns. In Burnout Paradise you’re given the keys to the city, but it’s up to you to earn the keys to the meanest and most dangerous cars on the street, and earn your Burnout license.

In Pure you take part in frenetic races and freestyle competitions across the globe, with one of the seven playable characters, as part of the ATV World Tour experience. Build your boost juice and thrill bar by performing the most death-defying tricks possible off one of the many jumps. Only then will you be able to perform your character’s unique ‘signature trick’ and use your boost juice to race to victory. Whether you are a racer or like to freestyle, you can also create your own ATV to ride. With over 60,000 design options, you can build your perfect bike from the ground up and use it on the single player tour or online against 15 other opponents from around the world.

Rayman Legends retains the fantasy appeal of its predecessor while adding a multitude of clever and entertaining gaming modes, new characters, new environments and a new soundtrack. The game features a variety of uniquely-themed levels, including several musical maps set to creative soundtracks and a spooky, medieval theme. Players also can connect online with friends for a variety of challenges that test their skill and speed, and can see where they rank on the worldwide leaderboards. The award-winning team of artists, designers and composers behind the UbiArt engine also have added multi-dimensional gameplay elements, an improved lighting system and improved graphics rendering in Rayman Legends.

What do you think about these games now being playable on Xbox One? What do you want to see arrive in the backwards compatibility library next?
