Battlefield 1 Story Trailer Released by EA and DICE

News: EA has just given us a glimpse into what we can expect with the Battlefield 1 single player campaign when it is released next month.

Battlefield 1 is only a few weeks away from release. Earlier today EA released a trailer showing off some of the campaign to whet your appetite for the game’s release. The Battlefield 1 campaign is going to be all about war stories. These are going to be personal stories that will focus on different protagonists with different backgrounds and skills. The team at DICE decided to go this route to try and cover as much of World War 1 as they could through many perspectives and characters.

This is an interesting tactic because instead of going through the war and seeing it through the eyes of one person or group you are going to get a set of characters with their own more focused stories. They have decided to go with classic cinematics that will allow you to see and feel what the characters are going through. This should hopefully add another layer to the storytelling since you are not only going to be seeing things through their eyes but at times you will be able to see their expressions and actually see what their body is going through.

Battlefield 1 will also allow you to get to know some real life historical figures. One of those figures will be Lawrence of Arabia. Lawrence is one of the most iconic names of World War 1 and he is the underdog in Battlefield 1. You will play as an Arab rebel that is Lawrence’s right hand man and you need to help him out in any way you can. This can be by utilizing a bit of a “run and gun” approach, trying to do things a bit more quietly, trying to take out enemies from a distance or whatever method you choose.
