News: Sony has released Quantic Dream’s PS3 games on the PS4 in a collection that will save you money over buying them separately.

”Heavy

Heavy Rain is now available digitally for the PS4 joining Beyond Two Souls which was released late last year. If you are the type of person who prefers the physical version of games then that is available in stores as well, except for the United States. For some inexplicable reason there will not be a physical release in the U.S. and it is a bit mind boggling. On PSN though you can buy both Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls both separately or as part of a collection that includes both titles. If you buy each title separately they will cost you $29.99 each or the bundle with both games will cost you $39.99.

In Heavy Rain Quantic Dream has worked on improving the graphical fidelity from the PlayStation 3 version. This includes things such as improved reflections, increased resolution, shadow mapping and improved lighting on scenes and objects. In Beyond Two Souls there is enhanced 1080p graphics including motion blur, bloom and depth of field effects, as well as improved lighting and shadows. The game also makes use of the Dualshock 4 speaker to improve immersion when playing as the Entity. With this new version of Beyond Two Souls you can also play the game in chronological order from start to finish and you can do that from the very beginning. You do not have to beat the game to unlock that option.

Will you be purchasing these games? If you live in the U.S. and don’t have access to the physical version, will you be importing one? Tell us what you think below.
