Worms Battlegrounds Alien Invasion DLC Now Available on Xbox One

News: Team17 has revealed that there is some new Alien Invasion DLC that you can get to play with your free copy of Worms Battlegrounds.

Worms: Battlegrounds is currently available for free on Xbox One with the Games with Gold program and Team17 has just revealed that new DLC is also available. In Worms Battlegrounds you can take part in 35 single player missions or compete in hilarious multiplayer warfare with online and local multiplayer for up to four players. Worms Battlegrounds also features clan support, over 200 customisation items, 65 weapons and utilities and even a landscape editor.

In addition to that is the new Alien Invasion pack that is now available on Xbox One for £3.99 / $4.99 / 4,99 € with a 20% discount available for Xbox Live Gold members. Some of the features for the Worms Battlegrounds Alien Invasion DLC include:

All new Bodycount game mode. Pick your two favorite classes of worm and play as FIB agents fighting off wave after wave of alien invaders. Compete across three maps with new global leaderboards.

10 new Deathmatch missions. Take control of the alien invaders and fight against those pesky invertebrate FIB agents who are hunting you down and trying to destroy your UFO.

5 Alien themed hats

5 Alien themed gravestones

2 Alien themed speechbanks

5 re-imagined weapons to use in the Alien Invasions modes. Battle with the Plasma Blaster, Energy Orb, Ray Gun, Brightsaber and Precision Droid. Plus watch as all strike weapons are now dropped by a UFO.

5 new achievements
