News: Ubisoft reveals when we can expect to finally get our hands on Watch Dogs for both current and last gen consoles.
Watch Dogs is a game that has been heavily anticipated since it was revealed back during the Ubisoft press conference at E3 2012. Earlier today Ubisoft released a story trailer for Watch Dogs that displayed the date May 27, 2014 at the end of the trailer. When all is said and done Watch Dogs will have been delayed approximately seven months from its originally scheduled date.
In Watch Dogs, players assume the role of Aiden Pearce, a new type of vigilante hero who, with the help of his smartphone, will use his ability to hack into Chicago’s central operating system (ctOS) to control almost every element in the city. Watch Dogs was originally slated to be a November release to be a launch title for both the Xbox One and the PS4. It got pushed back to give it more polish though and it looks like we finally have a release date.
We have that new trailer for you below so be sure to take a look and tell us what you think. Watch Dogs will be available on May 27, 2014 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC. The Wii U version of Watch Dogs is still coming as well, however, that will be released at a later time.
