Battlefield 4 News: EA releases a new multiplayer trailer for Battlefield 4 along with beta details to let you know when you can enlist for battle.

Battlefield 4

Battlefield 4 is only a few weeks away from being released on current gen consoles (with next gen following a couple weeks later) and EA has just released a new multiplayer trailer to whet your appetite. With dynamic destructible environments, epic vehicular combat, and the chaos of all-out war, Battlefield 4 gives you the freedom to do more and be more for an unrivaled entertainment experience

In addition to the new multiplayer beta, EA and DICE have also revealed that the Battlefield 4 beta will be starting soon and they revealed how you will be able to participate. There are four different avenues you can go down to try and gain access to the Battlefield 4 beta. The first option is to be a Battlefield 3 Premium member. If that is the case then you will gain access to the beta on October 1. If you are a registered owner of the Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition you will gain access to the Battlefield 4 beta on October 1. If you pre-order the Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition you will gain access to the beta on October 1. Finally, if you don’t want to do any of that the Battlefield 4 beta will open up to everyone on October 4. You can download the beta from either Xbox Live, PSN or Origin.

Finally, EA has also revealed that they are taking price in the “upgrade” program for next gen. If you purchase Battlefield 4 on Xbox 360 or PS3 you will be able to upgrade to Battlefield 4 for only $9.99 on the next gen consoles. Your rank, score, K/D ratio, wins, time played, service stars, dog tags taken, vehicles destroyed, repairs, revives, squad score, accuracy, and more will all transfer to next-gen consoles at launch. It should go without saying but if you purchase the PS3 version of Battlefield 4 the $9.99 upgrade offer only applies to the PS4 version. Similarly if you purchase the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield 4 then the $9.99 upgrade offer only applies to the Xbox One version.

Check out the new multiplayer trailer below and tell us what you think. Which version of Battlefield 4 will you be purchasing? Will you take advantage of the next gen upgrade program?
