Wii U Release Date Games News: Nintendo Wii U launch games on its release date includes Super Mario Bros. Wii U, Assassin’s Creed 3, Epic Mickey 2 and CoD Black Ops 2.
The Nintendo Wii U launch games list contains 30 games for day-one buyers, with highlights like Super Mario Bros. Wii U, ZombiU, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for Wii.
Nintendo is supporting the Wii U with four games, Super Mario Bros. Wii U, Nintendo Land, SiNG Party, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. Ninja Gaiden 3 straddles the line, as it is co-published by Nintendo with Tecmo Koei.
The rest of the 26 Wii U launch games are from third-party publishers like Activision, Ubisoft, Warner Bros., 2K Games, Namco Bandai, THQ and Sega.

The availability of launch games hasn’t been an issue, however,
where to find the Wii U in stock has been more difficult through online retail stores. Best Buy and GameStop sold out of the system, while Walmart and Target are limited quantities in stores only.
