News: More than a dozen Square-Enix games are part of the $9.99 PlayPack option.

Are you an OnLive PlayPack subscriber who hearts Square-Enix games? Then today's OnLive announcement is going to make you InLove with the on-demand video game service.

Square-Enix is throwing more than a dozen of its games into OnLive's growing PlayPack option, which costs $9.99 a month. Franchises represented include Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief, Mini Ninjas and Hitman. They join dozens of other titles already part of the service including BioShock, FEAR 2: Project Origin, Prince of Persia, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance and, our personal favorite and Twisted Pixel's first game, The Maw.

"The unlimited value our subscribers are currently realizing from PlayPack is translating into hundreds of hours of rich gameplay, and this experience will continue to evolve as we add more great titles like these," said John Spinale, OnLive VP of Games and Media. "With the announcement of our extended partnership with Square Enix today, we are delighted to introduce a wealth of great game titles while reiterating our commitment to continually evolve the PlayPack game library."

The list of on-demand OnLive games, which can be played instantly on TVs via the OnLive Game System and on virtually any PC or Mac, certainly seems to be expanding. Does the presence of Square-Enix's top franchises (really, Eidos' flagship properties that Square-Enix now owns) make you want to buy into or continue to be a part of the subscription service?
