News: Play SMB as Samus Aran, Link, Mega Man, Simon Belmont or Bill Rizer.

What are you doing right now? Are you working? Are you eating breakfast or lunch? Are you still sleeping?

It actually doesn't matter what you're doing right now, but what you should be doing is playing Super Mario Crossover, the new king of fantastic Flash games.

Super Mario Crossover was created by Exploding Rabbit and asks to imagine a world where a few other classic NES characters gave Mario a hand in his quest to save the Princess in the original Super Mario Bros.

In addition to Mario, SMC gives gamers the ability to play as Samus Aran (Metroid), Link The Legend of Zelda), Mega Man (Mega Man IV), Simon Belmont (Castlevania) and Bill Rizer Contra.

Each character retains their own play style and powerups grant weaponry from their own games. For example, a Mushroom gives Bill Rizer a Machine Gun and a Fire Flower gives him the Spread Gun. Mowing down Goombas with a Spread Gun is just too fun.

Nintendo's lawyers (and Capcom's and Konami's) will probably attempt to cease and desist Super Mario Crossover, so play it while you can. It is a work of inventive genius and any NES fan would do well to check it out.
