Nintendo of Europe has announced that the DSi XL, the extra large DSi system with a 93% bigger screen, will be released in Europe on March 5. The new iteration of the DSi handheld was released in Japan on November 21, 2009 while Nintendo of America is only willing to say the system will be released in "early 2010."
The system will be available in two colors, Wine Red and Dark Brown, and will come preloaded with three DSiWare applications:

While Nintendo of America hasn't announced a specific release date for the DSi XL, the DSi and DSi Lite were both released within days of each in North America and Europe, so a March release is almost assured.
