New Releases (Week of 8/10/09) @ Gaming Target

News: It's Madden NFL week. Are you ready for some football?

Imagine the following paragraph in my best John Madden voice...

Do you enjoy FOOTBALL! video games? Well good, because this is the second full week of August, the traditional time when EA Sports releases the next version of their fully-licensed NFL FOOTBALL! game, Madden NFL 10. People looking for a perfectly good game of FOOTBALL! for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360 just have to visit their local game store on August 14 to score a copy. Many stores (including many Best Buy and GameStop locations) are having midnight pre-sales of the biggest FOOTBALL! game around as well. FOOTBALL!

Naturally, other companies have kept their major releases away from the FOOTBALL! juggernaut. But two Wii titles of interest will be available next week: Strategy RPG Phantom Brave: We Meet Again from NIS America and Namco Bandai's exercise sequel Active Life: Extreme Challenge.
