2K Games has announced the next entry in their NHL 2K series, NHL 2K10, will be available this Fall for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360. The game will be developed by 2K's sport specialists, Visual Concepts.
Little else was revealed about the game, except for the announcement of the spokesman and cover athlete: Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals.
"It's a good time to be Ovi!," said Ovechkin, left winger for the Washington Capitals. "It's an incredible honor, and I look forward to working with 2K Sports to make NHL 2K10 the most fun and amazing hockey video game experience ever. I can't wait to put some of my moves in there."
2K has launched a teaser website for the game (which features a nice shot of the 2009 Maurice ?Rocket? Richard Award winner and Hart Memorial Trophy candidate) at 2KSports.com/games/nhl2k10
