News: Twisted Pixel announces their next XBLA title.
Twisted Pixel Games, the developers behind the recent Xbox Live Arcade title The Maw, have announced their next project for the Xbox 360's download service, Splosion Man.
As you may have guessed, Splosion Man is a game about an exploding man. A laboratory accident actually, the Splosion Man can explode at will and use these blasts to propel himself through the side-scrolling world he inhabits and to take out the scientists that are trying to put him back in his cage. Or as Twisted Pixel says:
Scientists unleash all of their technology in an attempt to stop him, but his path is relentless. Any scientist he catches is Сsploded into chunks of ham and ribeyes, the smell of their destruction terrifying, but also a little succulent.
The game will also include co-op play for up to four players (in any combination of local and online players), leaderboards and a variety of giant boss characters (it wouldn't be a 2D platformer if it didn't have bosses now would it?).
Splosion Man does not currently have a release date.
