News: The next Final Fantasy game on the Wii now has a home on the web.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers was the very first game announced for the Wii during the system's unveiling at E3 2005. In the almost four years since, Square-Enix has revealed almost nothing about the game. It fell so far off the radar that a completely different Crystal Chronicles game, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time, was announced, developed and released during the time Square-Enix went silent about The Crystal Bearers.

That all changes now that the company has opened up the game's official website, TheCrystalBearers.com.

Besides being proof the game is still in development (fans feared it had been canceled when the company announced Echoes of Time), the site includes a new trailer and a Crystal Bearers wallpaper in a variety of sizes. Square-Enix also plans to open up two more sections, titled "It's Gonna Be A Long Night" and "Public Spectacle", after the site receives a certain number of hits as alluded to by the "More Visits, More Movies!" instructions.

We'll have more soon.
