Trivia: The Red Star (PS2)


  • Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Christian Gossett.

  • The Red Star was originally signed to be published by Acclaim, but the company went bankrupt in Augusut of 2004, just a few weeks before the game's scheduled release date.

  • A mini-boss in Chapter 3 is named "Kontrawall 1" and it is based on a boss known as "The Base" in the Contra series. Both bosses are impassable walls armed with guns and a glowing red weak point that the player must shoot to advance.
