News: 2007 might be a very busy year for Wii owners.

IGN has confirmed that Nintendo of Japan has made their list of Wii releases and checked it twice; and we have learned 2007 is going to be a very full year indeed.

While most gamers doubted Nintendo would ship their three biggest games in 2007, the list shows Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl with 2007 dates.

In total, 13 games have been a 2007 release date. In fact, the list shows a 2007 release date for nearly every announced Nintendo produced title for the Wii. The only exceptions are Animal Crossing Wii and Kirby Adventure. Both have been tagged with "To Be Announced" release dates.

Here's the full list:

  • Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race (Donkey Kong Jet) - June 28, 2007
  • Wii Health Pack -- 2007
  • Disaster: Day of Crisis - 2007
  • Mario Party 8 - 2007
  • Project H.A.M.M.E.R. - 2007
  • Wii Music - 2007
  • Super Mario Galaxy - 2007
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl - 2007
  • Battalion Wars II - 2007
  • Forever Blue - 2007
  • Mario Strikers Charged - 2007
  • Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - 2007
  • Mario and Sonic at the Olympics - 2007
  • Animal Crossing Wii - To Be Announced
  • Hoshi no Kirby (Kirby Adventure) - To Be Announced

If all of these titles do come out in 2007, the only question remains, what can Nintendo do for an encore?
