News: Wow, this has all the makings of a great game or something...

Game Politics has the scoop that Take-Two has decided they're done dealing with Jack Thompson and have decided to sue him.

Take-Two has claimed with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida that Thompson is a nuisance and his repeated attempts to sue them have go against their First Amendment rights. They are seeking an injunction that would bar Thompson from trying to get their games declared a "public nuisance," which would prevent them from being sold in stores. This is no doubt a response to Thompson's recent threat to file a lawsuit in the Florida court to block the sale of Manhunt 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Take-Two has also asked to be compensated for its attorney fees because of their defense against Thompson's constant attacks, all of which have been unsuccessful.

We'll keep you posted on any further developments in the Jack Thompson Chronicles.
