News: Microsoft lays down it's game plan for the big show, including new Wolfenstein and a new one from BioWare.

X05, Microsoft's big European trade showcase for the Xbox 360 has started today and the information is already flying strong out of Amsterdam.

The following games will be on display at the big event:

  • Call of Duty 2 (Activision Inc.)
  • Condemned: Criminal Origins (SEGA)
  • Crackdown (MGS-Real Time Worlds)
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Bethesda Softworks LLC)
  • FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup (Electronic Arts)
  • Full Auto (SEGA)
  • Gears of War (MGS-Epic Games Inc.)
  • Kameo: Elements of Power (MGS-Rare Ltd.)
  • MotoGP Ultimate Racing Technology 2006 (THQ)
  • The Outfit (THQ)
  • Perfect Dark Zero (MGS-Rare Ltd.)
  • Project Gotham Racing 3 (MGS-Bizarre Creations Ltd.)

  • Superman Returns: The Videogame (Electronic Arts)
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 4 (Ubisoft Entertainment)
  • Too Human (MGS-Silicon Knights)

We've also got the never before seen in the new one from BioWare and the newest entry in the Wolfenstein series:

Mass Effect (MGS-BioWare Corp.) Set 200 years in the future in an epic universe, Mass Effect places gamers in a vast galactic community in danger of being conquered by a legendary agent gone rogue. A spectacular new vision from legendary developers BioWare, Mass Effect challenges players to lead a squad of freedom fighters as they struggle against threatening armies to restore peace in the land. Mass Effect is the first in a trilogy of games with an overarching story, where the real conflict between organic beings and artificial intelligence comes to life in startling clarity.

Castle Wolfenstein will bring the series to the next-gen and is being developed in-house by id Software.
