News: WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW 2006 is coming this fall.
THQ isn't even trying to hide it anymore, their WWE Smackdown series has officially gone yearly. This morning they announced WWE Smackdown! Vs. RAW 2006 is coming to the PS2 this fall.
New in Smackdown 2006 will be the "Momentum System", a system that will try to simulate the "get up when the crowd is cheering for you" response that Hulk Hogan was most famous for using. Also new is the "Stamina System" that will force players to tailor their matches to abilities that just help them stay on their feet for a whole match.
On top of these two new features will be the usual complement of WWE superstars and "an extensive online component".
