THQ announces Supreme Commander @ Gaming Target

News: The spiritual successor to Total Annihilation is coming.

When talking about the Real Time Strategy genre, many gamers talk fondly about Chris Taylor and Gas Powered Games' Total Annihilation. Until now Chris and company have never been given a chance to relieve their glory genre, but THQ is giving them a chance with Supreme Commander.

Supreme Commander will be the spiritual followup to Total Annihilation, but it currently has no solid release date. We do however have this:

THQ plans to release more details on Supreme Commander over the summer.
