First Impressions: You know what's sad? I've written so many articles on Star Wars games I can't come up with anymore smart-ass things to say about them

The Millennium Falcon Ц One of the coolest, fastest (well, according to Han anyway) and most revered ships in the entire universe. Come on now, who of us Star Wars fanatics didn't want to jump in the cockpit with Han Solo when we first saw this Corellian freighter for the first time? Well, I'm personally more of a Y-Wing fan myself, but it's still nice to see the Falcon getting a little credit.

As you've probably figured out, Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon is based on none other than the Millennium Falcon herself. Players will become captain of the Falcon, and will have to pilot the legendary bird through 14 intense missions. Levels will range from deep space outruns to close-range surface battles. Naturally resistance will be heavy, with the Empire spitting out familiar enemies such as TIE-Fighters and TIE-Bombers that will do anything in their power to keep you from completing your missions. Can you handle the pressure?

As you might expect, Flight of the Falcon revolves around a number of familiar Star Wars locations. With missions based on both Yavin and Endor, Star Wars fans will feel at home right from the beginning. Players may even find the storyline wrapping around some well-known events found in the original Star Wars trilogy.

Although Flight of the Falcon is based primarily on the Millennium Falcon, other recognizable ships will be able to be piloted as well and players will also be able to customize their spacecraft. Ship stats such as weapons and shields can be upgraded throughout the game, allowing you to have an extra edge in your fight against the Empire.

Final Thoughts
Let's face it, Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon may not win any game of the year awards when it comes out this November. However, if it can prove to be ╜ the game that X-Wing and Tie-Fighter were oh so long ago, then it should be well received, as well as a welcome addition to the Game Boy Advance's line of games. Just be warned though, if you put any scratches or dents in the Millennium Falcon, Chewbacca's not going to be very happy; he's got a very itchy trigger finger.
