News: Puzzle platformer plans to go head-to-head with Sony's Sackboy.

With the Harry Potter series winding down, EA's Bright Light studio was looking for a new project. It appears they've found it with the LittleBigPlanetesque puzzle platformer Create.

Coming to the PC, PlayStation 3 (with Move support), Wii and Xbox 360 this November, Create asks players will to create their own puzzle-based challenges while also serving up a wide variety of its own. Completing these challenges will unlock even more textures, props and animating objects to allow players to create even bigger and better puzzle challenges.

УCreate uses families' imaginations to develop new ways to play together that are both fun and challenging,Ф said Harvey Elliott, VP and General Manager at EA Bright Light. УWe wanted to design a game where the entire family can explore, decorate, and solve challenges where no solution is wrong and the only limit is the imagination.Ф

Like LittleBigPlanet, players will be able to share their creations with the community at large. Both within the game and through its official website, www.Create.EA.com (sorry Wii owners, this feature is PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 only). However, EA launched the game's website today to give gamers an early look at Create with a trailer and a bunch of screenshots.

We'll have more soon.
