News: But it's not KH3 and it's not coming to the PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 or iPhone.

After the cover story confirming Infamous 2, the July issue of Game Informer has one more big surprise for us: confirmation that a new Kingdom Hearts will be revealed at E3.

Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura was interviewed in the magazine and he revealed the E3 announcement when asked about the two Kingdom Hearts games he claims are in development:

Game Informer: Are there any hints you can provide about these new games?

Nomura: Hints would give away too much, and for Kingdom Hearts we're contractually obligated to keep any information that has not been officially released under wraps. However, I can say one of the two projects mentioned above came into existence because we wanted to do something for the North American fans, so we'll be announcing it at E3.

Nomura also mentions in the interview that the Kingdom Hearts game announced at E3 is unlikely to appear on the PS3, Wii, Xbox 360 or iPhone (which rules out Kingdom Hearts III). By process of elimination that leaves us with a new game in the franchise on the DS or PSP... or just maybe Nintendo's new 3DS.

We'll have more during our E3 coverage next week.
