News: Including the news its coming to the DS, PC, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360.

Ubisoft has kicked up a few more details about Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and confirmed the game will be coming to the DS, PC, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360 in May 2010.

Not surprisingly, Ubisoft also confirmed that the DS, PSP and Wii version of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will feature different gameplay than the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 version.

While the game will expand the Sands of Time storyline (and no doubt reference next year's movie adaptation as well), it will not be a full fledged sequel. Instead, The Forgotten Sands will be an interquel that will take place between Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within...

"" Visiting his brother's kingdom following his adventure in Azad, the Prince finds the royal palace under siege from a mighty army bent on its destruction. When the decision is made to use the ancient power of the Sand in a desperate gamble to save the kingdom from total annihilation, the Prince will embark on an epic adventure in which he will learn to bear the mantle of true leadership, and discover that great power often comes with a great cost. ""

We'll have more soon.
