News: All told, Infinity Ward's sequel sold six million copies.

The NPD Group has released their report on the bestselling games and consoles in November and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 performed its expected duty by taking the two top spots. The Xbox 360 version posted sales of 4.2 million while the PlayStation 3 version sold 1.87 million copies.

No surprises dot the rest of the list. New Super Mario Bros. Wii took the third spot with 1.39 million in sales while well-received sequel Assassin's Creed II landed at #4 (Xbox 360) and 38 (PS3). Vavle's zombie shooting sequel, Left 4 Dead 2, rounded out the top five.

Finally, Nintendo's big three dominated the bottom half of the top ten as Wii Sports Resort, Wii Fit Plus and Mario Kart Wii all cracked the top ten yet again.
