News: Are you ready for 'New Warriors'?

Capcom Japan has launched a new teaser site for a game that is being referred to as "New Warrior" in the address bar. The site is quite bare, but what is there is quite interesting.

Along the bottom runs a date: 2009.09.29 17:00:00 JST. That translates to 4:00 AM eastern time tomorrow for us in America. And in the middle of the page is a short teaser trailer of new characters fighting amongst swirling smoke. An effect very similar to the teaser trailer for Street Fighter IV:

Rumors of an imminent announcement of Super Street Fighter IV (starring T.Hawk) whipped through this weekend's Tokyo Game Show. While it's a tad odd that Capcom would wait until the show is over to announce a new game, it's looking more and more likely that that's exactly what will happen just after midnight tonight.

We'll have more soon.
