All Elite Wrestling Teases Potential Game Announcement on November 10

News: AEW has just released a teaser trailer that makes it look like we might get an official announcement about their upcoming game next week.

November 10 is going to be a big day in the gaming industry with the launch of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. If you are a wrestling fan and a gamer, there is now also something else to look forward to on that day. According to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), there is going to be a “AEW Games 1.0 Special Event”. The speculation is that this might be an official announcement about the AEW game fans have been speculating about since the inception of AEW back in 2019.

Of course, some of the key people at AEW are huge gamers themselves, such as Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks, and more. One of Cody’s favorite franchises is The Legend of Zelda and he even had the Triforce on his wrestling boots early on in his career. Kenny Omega plays a lot of games but one of the main titles he is known for is definitely Street Fighter. He has competed in many tournaments over the years, including EVO. He has also been at other shows as well such as the Capcom cup. Additionally, back in the summer of 2018, we had The Elite (Kenny Omega, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson) take on the New Day (Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Big E) during E3 at the Capcom booth and the game that they competed in was Street Fighter V. There are also many other AEW wrestlers that are big gamers, with one of the current storylines even featuring a broken arcade machine.

Back to the rumored AEW game for a moment, not much is known about it but the Tweet that AEW Games just sent out is sure to send the rumor mill into overdrive. The AEW Games 1.0 Special Event will take place on Tuesday, November 10th, at 3pm Pacific / 6pm Eastern.
